KARATE IN PERTH, WESTERN AUSTRALIA: A BRIEF HISTORY

 

One of the key figures in the development of Karate in Perth is Sensei John Ellis, who founded the West Australian Karate Federation in 1973. Ellis, who had trained in Japan, was one of the first trainers to offer authentic Karate classes in Perth.
